Frogs, frogs, frogs' croakings fill the air Louder, louder, louder in their blasting blair And there's no silence in the night. Frogs, frogs, frogs' croaks heard three miles away Five, six, seven on the same day Frogs, frogs, multiplying more each day And there's no silence in the night. Frogs, frogs, don't try to seek them out Frogs, frogs, frogs hiding all about Grab, grab, grab their throats and wring 'em out Cause there's no silence in the night. Frogs, frogs, Don't you hear the strain Frogs, frogs, please, please, please refrain And listen .. ribbit .. there they go again And there's no silence in the night. The above came from a skit that Red Skelton used to do on his television show. I do not know who wrote it. I don't remember when, or even why, I started collecting phrogs (frogs). I know it was over 25 years ago. I have miniatures from every US state; miniatures from Germany, Turkey, Canada, Guam and Barbados. My collection includes stuffed toys, coffee mugs, cream pitchers, sugar bowls, salt and pepper shakers, and just about anything a frog can be placed on. It was only natural that I would have an online phrog collection. Please do not "borrow" any of my phrogs. Most were made for me or by me. Those that are adopted have a link you can click on to adopt your own. |
